Event Details

Book Buddies is our brand new book club for tweens! Tweens (grades 4-8) and their buddy (grownup/older sibling) can read a book together and come in to discuss! 

The book we will be reading is A Duet for Home by Karina Yan Glaser

We will have 8 free books available - first come, first serve (One book per tween). The books will be available at the front desk starting March 11th and we will have the first book club meeting on Monday, April  21st from 4:30-5:30pm.

 

Book Description: Told from the perspective of biracial sixth-graders June and Tyrell, two children living in a homeless shelter. As their friendship grows over a shared love of classical music, June and Tyrell confront a new housing policy that puts homeless families in danger.
