Join us for a FREE 3-week series for kids presented by the Davenport Junior Theatre!
🎭 We will explore the art of theatre through three different topics: acting, musical theatre, and puppetry! We will go over the basic tools and methods used in all three areas while also putting them to practice through different games and activities. Whether you are completely new to the art of theatre or wanting to pick up some different skills, there will be plenty to learn about the power of theatre and play.
This week we will explore the basics of acting and the three most useful tools available for an actor to use: their voice, their body, and their imagination! Games and activities will be used to discover how each tool can be used to be a successful actor and why play is one of the most powerful tools we have as humans.
